Michael J. (Mike) Manno
Born: Richmond, Virginia
Grew up in Des Moines, Iowa; graduated from Dowling High School, Creighton University (Omaha, Nebraska) with a bachelor’s degree in journalism; Iowa State University (Ames, Iowa) with a master’s degree in political science, and Drake University Law School (Des Moines, Iowa).
Formerly a newspaper reporter and editor with several Iowa newspapers; real estate broker and member of the city council in Davenport, Iowa. Board member, First Class Credit Union, Des Moines, Iowa. Adjunct professor of law and government, Upper Iowa University, West Des Moines Center. He is a permanent deacon in the Roman Catholic Church.
His legal writings and commentaries have appeared in The Des Moines Register and The Wanderer (St. Paul, Minnesota).
